Tamiya TRF416X
The TRF416 has won numerous races around the world and as a result there has been huge demand for this championship-winning machine. The worldwide demand has been so great that Tamiya has undertaken two additional production runs, both of which were sold out instantly. Team TRF has been working hard to further refine the TRF416 by taking advantage of the large amount of race data recorded by our worldwide team drivers. This awesome new TRF416X machine will definitely be a strong candidate to win the 2010 IFMAR world championship in Germany.

Revisions to the TRF416X:
- Motor position has been shifted 1mm to centre for optimum chassis balance.
- Rear ball differential has been shifted 1.8mm towards the rear to improve rear traction and acceleration.
- Wider front bulkhead attachment screw positions and a new lower deck shape enhance the chassis’ front rigidity.
- Features new carbon 2.25mm lower and 2mm upper decks.
- Export Version front pulley features a direct coupling while the centre pulley also features a direct drive setup to cope with the massive power of brushless motors.
- Japan Version features additional front and centre one-way units (= higher price point).
- Newly designed parts such as lower and upper decks, rear drive belt, front and rear lower bulkhead, motor mount, centre bulkhead, and motor mount support included.
- Requires body, R/C unit, battery, motor, pinion gear, tyres, and wheels (sold separately).
The newly designed motor mount shifted the motor position 1mm towards the centre. This enhances left/right cornering balance and prevents the hall sensor wire from coming into contact with the body.
Wider front bulkhead attachment screw positions and a new lower deck shape enhance the chassis’ rigidity. Separate suspension mounts can be installed to enable easier maintenance.
The newly designed rear lower bulkhead and rear drive belt results in the rear ball differential being moved 1.8mm towards the rear for improved traction and acceleration.
