X-Factory UK Trinity Nitro Line-Up Preview

This is the fourth of our in depth looks at the Trinity and Team Epic ranges of Products, this preview features the entire listing of Nitro Engines and related accessories from Trinity.

Trinity are best known for their motors and batteries – no question – but they also have many nitro engines and related parts aimed at the very highest level of racing too in their range.

Nitro Engines

Trinity have teamed up with world leaders in nitro engines, Sirio of Italy, to bring you the Ex-Tech range of 21 and 24 size race engines.

 

There are two engines in the Trinity Ex-Tech range – the 21 Pro and the TT2 24 Pro. The 21 is aimed squarely at 1:8 off-road buggies where as the larger 24 is aimed at the bigger and heavier 1:8 truggies, giving the power they crave for but without the heavy fuel load of the previous 28 size engines people once used.

Both of the engines are also available in no less than three versions – Standard, Dyno Tested/Tweaked and Modified/Dyno-Tested/Tweaked/Blue printed.

The Dyno Tuned versions each come with their own dyno printout showing the results when run in and set up on two different types of tuned pipe. Each carburettor is flow tested and each engine is built with a matching piston and sleeve pair.

On top of this, the Modified versions feature all the same as the tuned version but with modified and lightened piston and connecting rod, balanced crank shaft and modified port timing, each built to exacting blue printed standards.
