AKA Winter Series At Fairlop – Round Two

Round two of the series and another wet Sunday…

Despite the consistent rain and freezing temperatures we have been suffering this winter the club did a fantastic job again of getting the track ready. Conditions being same as last round every driver should have a good idea of what tyre and set up to choose. With it being Valentines day, this and many other races were down on numbers. Despite everything, four full heats was booked in.

The track held up perfectly again for the whole day giving every driver a fair chance to qualify with best two rounds to count. At the end of the day James Baxter took the Buggy win with his MP9 after a close race with Marc Jacka. Dave Brown took the Truggy win after the leader Richard Baker broke exiting the pit lane. Well done again to the Carl and the team we look forward to round three on the 14th of March.
