Moss And Schumacher Take F1 Double
Report By Racer Staff
The new-look BRCA indoor event took place at the popular venue at Worksop in Nottinghamshire. With a radical change to the format seeing the competitors compete against others in their formula grade, it was an interesting meeting for all involved.
On its racing debut, Simon Moss gave the new Cougar SV a successful start with a dominant display at the revamped BRCA Indoor Finals, now called the British Indoor Open. After winning all five of his 2WD races in the F1 category, the Stoke driver then went on to claim victory in 4WD with his CAT SX equipped with the latest developments to round up a very impressive display.
In the F2 class, Matt White drove his X Factory X-6 to the overall win in 2WD whilst it was Graham North and his Durango who took the 4WD category. The F3, F4 and F5 drivers were amalgamated into one and had the greatest numbers taking part and on the Saturday, Eugene Galley took the win with his Kyosho RB5.
