Contact-RC Tyres
Contact-RC is a new brand of RC racing foam tyres, which are set to make a major impact in on-road racing classes this year.
Contact-RC tyres is lead by experienced foam tyre expert Piero Torregiani. He is the former top man of ATS, who helped his team drivers achieve 2008 and 2009 World and European championships in 1:8 and 1:10 scale Nitro On Road.
Contact-RC tyres will be manufactured by the expert engineers at Schumacher Racing in the UK. Schumacher has invested in a highly automated manufacturing process which will ensure consistent high quality products. Contact-RC will use only the best materials and all new wheels, developed with the knowledge and experience of some of the world’s best drivers.
The fully automated hardness measurement, gluing, and truing processes mean that every single tyre produced will meet the exacting high standards required by top level racers.
Several well known drivers are backing the project so look out for some big name driver announcements soon. Top American drivers Paul Lemieux and DJ Apolaro, and German champion Robin D’Hont will be racing with Contact-RC for the 2010 season.
