Hong Nor Success At Danish Truggy Nats
Race report by team-driver Tim Culmsee
Hong Nor team driver Steffen Culmsee took the TQ point and Tim Culmsee was second at the recent Danish Truggy Nats. In the semi finals Tim took it easy and the X2CRT gave him the spot in the final. The X2-CRT is so easy to drive and after the 45 min final Tim drove the X2-CRT to victory by one lap ahead of second HN driver Steffen Culmsee. The 3rd spot went to Martin Mortensen who also drove the X2-CRT. Hong Nor clean sweeps the First round of the Danish Truggy Nats! The X2-CRT gave Tim the confidence that he could win again. It ran all day without any breakdowns at all.. real HN quality!!
Sunday turned to the buggy race and Tim was very confident in his X2-CR . After qualifying he was at the number 6 spot with some bad runs in round 3 and 4 but the car was performing perfectly. So Tim started number 3 in semi final and could easily take the win in semi B. In the finals, after lap 2, he was last and got hit by another car really badly from behind (at the time I didn’t know) but it damaged the right shock. Nevertheless, Tim started to work his way up again but at the 45 min mark he ran out of time and finished a strong 3rd spot. So another great day for Hong Nor. Again, the Hong Nor Brand and quality showed that it’s really a great car! Very reliable and strong!
