Serpent TQ’s And Takes Top 4 In UK With 733

Serpent TQ’d and took the top 4 places in the A Final at the recent UK National. Last weekend was the warmest weekend in the UK this year with temperatures up to 27 deg C. The 3rd round of the UK National Championship was held at the very fast and flowing Halifax track.

Saturday practice was very busy with nearly 80 drivers all trying to get used to the track and the heat. There were 4 classes, Touring Car (Main Class), GT Class, Trucks and Touring Cars with controlled rubber tyres.

Sunday was a little cooler when the racing got underway at 9:00. After 3 rounds of qualifying Mark Green took TQ by 1 second from Kyle Branson with Serpent taking the next 4 places as well.

Mark Green lead the race for the full 30 minutes to take his first win of the 2010 season with Kyle in second place, Adam Catchpole third only one lap behind and Johnathan Dobney in fourth. This put Serpent 733’s in the top 4 A Final positions.
