2010 Nene Valley Raceway Winter Series Race Dates
The Nene Valley Raceway have announced their Winter Series dates for 2010/2011. This is open to large scale and rallycross racers with both Brushless and Nitro cars welcome.

The Nene Valley Raceway Off Road Model Car Club was forced to leave its old site at Goosey Lodge days before Christmas last year when the land was sold, the club found an alternative site and applied for planning and was approved without question in May and in 6 weeks from June to July a rebuilding programme was staged. The pictures here show the Nene Valley Raceway at their opening meeting on the weekend of the 31st July / 1st August.
The track suits large scale and rallycross racers and contains banked corners and a back straight of over 65m’s length. Other than the winter series dates, the club will be open every Sunday for bashing and advice for local racers who want a clean experience as not only is the track area totally astroturf (2750sqM), but so is the car park and camping area which is of equal size to the track. This means that the racer will not only have a clean route to the track as the club is located off the approach road leading to Santa Pod and served by an old Perry-track before entering the astroturf venue.
