IIC Victories for Atsushi Hara And Reedy LiPo Power
Atsushi Hara showed everyone why he is one of the best TC drivers of all time by beating a world-class field of drivers in both the Modified Touring and 17.5 Expert Touring classes at the 2010 International Indoor Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada. The IIC is one of the premier races of the year due to its location at the Riviera Hotel on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. A glassy smooth carpet surface and challenging layout created intense action and close battles in all classes.
Hara was the class of the field in the 17.5 Expert Touring category. An excellent chassis setup, perfect driving, and the power of Reedy’s #685 5000mAh 40C+ LiPo battery propelled him to the pole position by nearly half a lap over the number two qualifier. The main event was even more one-sided! Atsushi jumped into the lead and powered to nearly a lap lead by the time the 5-minute horn sounded.
The Modified Touring class was the final race of the day. Hara had tougher competition this time. Competing against a field of World, European, and U.S. champions, he secured a front row start with the help of the power and consistency of Reedy LiPo power.
At the sound of the horn, Hara settled into second position which he maintained until constant pressure forced the leader to make a mistake. Seizing the lead, Atsushi lead the remainder of the race and scored his second IIC Championship title of the day.
World-class racers demand the confidence of powerful and predictable battery performance. Reedy LiPo power delivers once again!
