New Hardware From Team Shepherd
Team Shepherd are pleased to introduce a new range of screws to their existing product line. These premium titanium screws are machined from the highest grade raw material. Compared to the standard screws the titanium ones are about 45% lighter and lower the overall weight significantly.
The following sizes are available:
- Countersunk: 3×6 – 3×8 – 3×10 – 3×12 – 4×8 – 4×10
- Buttonhead: 3×6 – 3×8 – 3×10 – 3×12
Additionally the screws are available as complete sets for the Velox V8 (127 pcs – #900011) and the Velox V10 (117 pcs – #500011)
Also, these new aluminium pivot balls help by saving additional weight. CNC-machined from premium German aluminium they are nickel plated to increase wear resistance and lifespan. The weight saving is about 60% compared to the standard balls.
The following pivot balls are available:
- Pivot ball aluminium D6, short (#900101)
- Pivot ball aluminium D6 (#900102)
- Pivot ball aluminium D7 (#900103)
By using these new products it’s possible to lower the overall weight considerably. This allows you to balance the car with weights mounted on the chassis plate for a better handling and a lower centre of gravity, minimising the risk of traction rolling.
