Simon Ciudan Wins Hungarian 1:10 Championship Round 6
The past weekend saw the 6th round of the Hungarian 1:10 Scale Championship run at the Modellcentrum Track in Budapest. Last year’s champion Simon Ciudan joined the Hungarian Shepherd Team just before the race and was amazed by the performance of the Velox V10. After taking TQ with the fastest lap time of the weekend he also dominated the 30 minute final leading from the start to the end and crossing the finishing line with a 3 lap gap over Zsolt Bajusz followed by László Kiss-Orbán.
After the perfect debut for the local Shepherd team, Simon had the following to say: “I am happy to be the first member of the Hungarian Shepherd Team in 1:10 scale. I was really happy with the car, it worked really well the whole weekend. We were amazed how easily we adapted the Velox V10, and how quickly we found a good set-up for this tricky track. I really see a big potential in the car, and I am looking forward to have more good results in the future.”
