Two DEX410s In A-final At 2010 Japan National Championship 4WD Class
The 2010 1:10 Japan National Championship for the off-road buggy 4WD class was held at Yatabe-Arena in Tsukuba city, Japan on 28th and 29th August 2010. Tresrey team driver Kazuki Sasatsu finished 5th and Yuichi Ajishi finished 9th in this tough race event against all other larger Japanese RC manufacturers.
Tresrey raced with two team drivers from last year Kazuki Sasatsu and Minoru Utsugi, and their new team driver Yuichi Ajishi, a former 1:8 Nitro Buggy National Champ. Also two of Tresrey staff joined the team as a mechanic and a driver which was most compact factory team in this race.
August 28th, 2010 Saturday
Four qualifying rounds started on this extremely hot day. Both Kazuki and Yuichi finished in good positions in early rounds and they kept it until its final round. Kazuki finished 6th and Yuichi finished 9th and they both got tickets to final A-main! Minoru also finished 20th after the qualifying rounds finished and made the B-main. So overall result after the qualifying, there were four Kyosho, two Yokomo, two Tamiya, and two Team Durango DEX410 in the A.
August 29th, 2010 Sunday
It was also extremely hot day for finals. Both Team Durango DEX410’s ran with Tresrey GAINABULL bodyshells and showed faster pick up and better performance through the corners during three rounds of the final with Kazuki Sasatsu finishing 5th on total points and Yuichi Ajishi taking 9th. Minoru Utsugi also finished 7th in B-main (17th in overall).
All of the Tresrey team drivers raced with Team Durango DEX410 2010 Spec and they were all sponsored and equipped by world champion brand, Speed Passion GT2.0 PRO ESCs and Competition Ver3.0 7.5R motors.
