Off-Road Wars Two-Day World Cup

 

After successfully running the last two editions of the Petit RC Race, Maritime Racing has been contacted by a number of drivers asking them to run an off-road meeting of their own. With this in mind and the great news that Maritime Racing is not losing its venue, the club in association with Schumacher Racing, Kyosho, Team Extreme, DMS Racing, Horizon Hobby UK and Racer Magazine are proud to present their first winter off-road event, the Off-Road Wars Two-Day World Cup. This will be run over the weekend of 26-27 February 2011 with 2WD on the Saturday and 4WD on the Sunday. Each day will consist of four qualifying rounds and two finals with the A final run over three legs. Maritime have decided to opt for a control tyre and will chosen Schumacher Yellow Minipins front and rear for both classes with the option of the Slim Staggered Rib for the front of the 2WDs. Trophies will be rewarded to the ten A finalists, and then to the top three drivers in each final from the B and down in each class. To accompany this title, there is also a prize fund for each class as shown below:

First: £200
Second: £100
Third: £50
Top U16: £50

There is also a prize fund for each final starting with the B final down and each winner will get a cash prize of £15. Booking in will be open soon at www.centralbooking.org and entry fees are £10 per class.
