HPI Racing Welcomes Torrance Deguzman to Their R&D Team
HPI Racing has announce the addition of Torrance Deguzman to their R&D team, pictured here with HPI Racing Founder and Chairman, Tatsuro Watanabe. Torrance is a Southern Californian who graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Torrance was introduced to his first RC car at the age of ten, and it has always been more than just a hobby for him, it is his passion. He has made that very clear by having over ten years of experience working in the RC industry, as well as having designed a wide array of vehicles. From two wheels to four wheels, nitro to electric, on-road to off-road, 1:18 to 1:5, as well as entry-level RTRs to reigning IFMAR World Championship winners, Torrance has positioned himself amongst the industry’s finest designers. Torrance will be an integral part of HPI Racing’s R&D team and had this to say. “HPI is famous for creating fun and exciting products, and it is evident in vehicles such as the Baja 5B, Mini-Trophy, Cup Racer, and all the way back to the original RS4 series. I am honored to have the privilege to be part of the HPI team and to continue this tradition of innovation and originality.”
