Novak GTB 2 Speed Controller

The all-new GTB 2 Sportsman Racing Brushless speed controller is a speed control for the entry-level racer and includes many new features in its design. The GTB 2 includes every feature a Sportsman class driver would want, without timing adjustments or a PC interface. The GTB has been a trusted speed control since 2005 and this is why Novak has kept many of the GTB’s signature features including Minimum Brake and Drag Brake. It has the updated Novak Thermal Overload Protection, which detects when the speed controller’s temperature rises too high (it then drops the power so drivers can safely get their vehicle off the track). Novak’s new speed control includes Built-In Voltage Cut-Off Circuitry, which monitors the vehicle’s battery pack’s voltage and prevents the batteries from going below the critical safety voltage level. It is sensor-based for excellent torque and low-speed driveability.
The GTB 2 features the patent-pending NovaBrakes – a revolutionary braking system provides instantaneous braking under any condition. Not only does the GTB 2 come with excellent Default Programming, but it includes features such as Throttle Curve Selection (Linear/Expo), Brake Curve Selection (Linear/Expo), Adjustable Brake Frequency, Adjustable Brake End Point, and an Adjustable Drive Frequency. The GTB 2 also includes a selectable Motor Rotation and has an all new Cross-Cut heat sink for reduced weight and efficient cooling.
