Paphon Signs for Acorn Racing
Acorn Racing has officially confirmed that Thailand’s top driver, Mr Paphon C has joined their factory team. Paphon started his racing career in 2001, taking second position in Thailand Tamiya Stock Class and furthered his racing career in Tamiya Asia Cup and various big races around the region. Paphon got additional support from Yokomo and went to race at Yatabe Arena at the Yokomo Asia Cup where he finished in sixth place before heading down to the Inaugural Acorn Racing Cup held in Malaysia achieving TQ and taking the overall win. With this experience and talent, he quickly rose up the rankings while competing in these races. With a total of ten years racing experience and multiple wins in his RC career, Paphon has used his vast knowledge and experience to contribute to the development of Acorn Racing Products. Paphon tested the all-new Acorn MAD Series LiPo 65C 6000mAh with a Speed Passion motor in recent races including the TITC 2011. He was impressed by the power generated by this series of new cells and he could get the ultimate performance and punch which last for eight minutes for both qualifying and finals, only using two packs for the meeting.
