Round five of the Tresrey Off-Road Race 4WD Challenge with “Charity Auction for Sendai Earthquake” was held last Sunday at the TRS circuit in Matsusaka-city, Japan. Some 73 racers joined the event, making it the best attended race that the TRS circuit ever had again for an off-road meeting. In round one of qualifying, it was TRF (Tamiya Racing Factory) driver Satoshi Maezumi who managed to take top time. In the second round though,  Maezumi broke his car in warm-up so it was Noriyuki Kawashima (ZX5) who managed 12 laps in 5m 4s to take TQ. Hideki Nakajima (B44) was second overall and Maezumi (TRF502X) from one in third. Unfortunately, the finals was cancelled because of heavy rain and so the final result was decided based on the qualifying result. There were 20 Durango DEX410/Rs in the race and two of them made the top ten – they were Takashi Nobuhara in fourth and Kenji Masuda ninth. Yokomo driver Kenji Tsuruta (Yokomo B-MAX) managed sixth with TRF driver Takayuki Kono seventh.
