IFMAR 1:10 Off-Road World Champs Warm-Up – 4WD
Some 78 drivers took part in the 4WD class at the World Championships and whilst the weather was improved over the previous days event, the wind was still affecting the cars over the big jumps. Lee Martin took the pole for the A final after tying on points with Associated’s Neil Cragg, but it was Lee who took the position due to a faster time. In the A finals, Neil won the first leg from Lee and and Jörn Neumann (Durango). but then Lee would return to form in the last two legs though to take the overall win. Ryan Cavalieri and Jared Tebo would follow the Tamiya driver across the line in leg two and then in leg three it was Ryan Cavalieri again in second with Neil Cragg third. This meant Lee took the overall win from Neil and Ryan Cavalieri third.
