In honour of the late Mike Reedy, round two of the BRCA 1:10 TC National series was renamed the Reedy Cotswold National. Even with rain predicted for the weekend, drivers showed up in force to compete at this special round and score maximum points towards the championship. Luckily, Saturday’s action was uninterrupted by rain, but Sunday was a different story. By the time the finals began, the track was completely saturated. However, racing continues wet or dry and the drivers prepared their cars for wet action and took to the track. In the Modified class, Reedy/Team Associated driver Olly Jefferies fought through the challenging conditions with his Reedy-powered TC6 to win leg one whilst the Reedy-powered TC6 of team mate Zak Smith came all the way from sixth on the grid to win the opening leg in the Pro Stock class. Eventually the conditions worsened to a point that the meeting could no longer continue, so the results from the first leg were used to determine the final positions. Thanks to their leg one wins, Olly and Zak were declared the winners of the Reedy Cotswold National.
