Team Durango DEX210 at the EFRA European Championships
The 2011 EFRA European Championships took place in Pau, Southern France. The event brings together the top 1:10 off-road racers in Europe to compete for bragging rights. The new Team Durango 2WD DEX210 buggy was in attendance with three drivers – Jörn Neumann, Hupo Hönigl and Martin Kriel. Jörn lead the charge in qualifying, taking third in the opening two rounds before TQ’ing the third and final round on day one of qualifying. When the final two rounds of qualifying were over and done, all three DEX210s had made it in to the A final – with Jörn Neumann sat poised in third, Hupo just behind in fifth and Martin Kreil ninth.
In leg one, Hupo closed in on Neil Cragg for second as the time wound down but couldn’t quite make up the distance as he finished third with Jörn close behind for fourth and Martin Kreil in ninth. The exciting new DEX210 2WD buggy is coming soon – keep an eye on the Team Durango website for more information.
