CRC Gen-Xi and Gen-X 10LE Win at IIC
The International Indoor Championships in Las Vegas is a showcase of the finest drivers and products from all over the world. A large smooth track, lots of grip and the best drivers in the world, the IIC is a big test of man and machine. New at the 2011 IIC was CRC’s 1:12 car, the Gen-Xi. This new car takes all the winning heritage from the multi-national winning CRC Gen-XL. Corner speed is at a huge premium in the restricted 17.5T and with speedo timing locked at zero, the chassis is the main factor in a quick lap time. Kenny Lambert totally dominated the IIC with his CRC package of Gen-Xi car, Rocket Fuel battery, CRC/Black Art R8C body and CRC Pro Cut tyres.
In 13.5T World GT, Fred Kellner took his stock CRC Gen-X 10LE to the after fellow CRC driver Patrick Morehead had taken TQ.
