Agrafiotis Wins Truggy Class at Greek Nationals
Last weekend was the last round of the Greek National Championships in 1:8 off-road for buggy and truggy on the new design Arena track near Athens. For team Serpent, we had four drivers racing in buggy and one in for truggy. Costas Agrafiotis participated in both categories with his new Serpent cars for first time.
In the truggy category, Costas was very fast in the qualifiers and missed TQ by one second after a Stop-Go penalty. In the final, after a spectacular race with second place, he took the victory on his debut with new Serpent Truggy.
In the buggy class, there was a lot of experienced drivers on the new track and Costas was driving the Cobra 811 for the first time. During qualification, Costas tried to find a good set-up and took eighth place in the main final after success in the semi final. After 45-minutes, Costas finished in eighth, which was not bad for a driver that had not practiced a lot the new design and with a new car.
