THE JQ Products Video Set-Up Service

There is little doubt that the team at JQ Products have brought some great ideas to the RC Industry and with their new Video Set-Up Service, this theme continues. Their Service aims to “Change the concept of technical support, offering it worldwide, customised and free, for all JQ Products clients through the internet.” The idea is that should you be unable to find a set-up online from a sheet by one of the team, then all you have to do is sent JQ Products a video of your car running and they will help. This service is for both cars and engine tuning if you drive the THE Car or THE Engine. Simply film two or three laps of you driving your car and upload it to youtube or vimeo and then post it in this thread. Here you have a sample of what they want to see:

Then they need the set-up sheet you are using in the video including clutch, tyres, oils and brand and upload this as a PDF or JPG to RC Tech. A blank set-up sheet is available here. And finally, tell them what you need to change on your car for example: “My car oversteers, like at 1:13 in the video or my car bounces too much as seen at 0:45 in the video.” You can read about the engine tuning section on JQ Products website here.
