JConcepts 3Ds, Inverse and Locknuts

New from JConcepts this month are the 3Ds 1:10 buggy tyre. Debuted at the IFMAR World Championships in Pattaya, Thailand for the 1:8 buggy class, the 3Ds designed by Jason Ruona and tested by the JConcepts Team are a first of their kind. Developed to be the ultimate slick-groove tyre, the 3Ds are a first to combine the high-stability design of a black groove bar tyre into an individually flexible pattern of finely spaced Double Dee lugs in one package. 3Ds excel on indoor and outdoor hard packed surfaces with either dry or wet conditions.

The next new item is the Inverse two-piece 12mm hex wheel for the B4.1 and B44.1. The two-piece design provides several benefits for maximum performance and ease of use. The inner wheel comes standard in a stealth, black matte finish providing the driver a look and feel never seen before. In addition, the inner wheel is designed as a completely smooth surface for the cleanest fit and finish which resists debris build-up. The outer dish, available in bright white or fluorescent yellow is creatively interlocked with the wheel and with the addition of inner screws and interior ribbing provide tuned rigidity. While utilizing the four screw combination from the inside, the Inverse provides a stable and highly rigid wheel. The Inverse wheel face also incorporates a user friendly wheel face shaped to promote a smoother gluing, wiping and drying. When securing the wheels, you must use the included flanged steel locknuts for B4.1 / B44.1 or JConcepts #2075 (blue) #2076 (black) serrated wheel nuts. The flanged nuts completely cover the interlocking tabs located near the centre of the wheel which correctly connects the two-piece design.

The final item are these moulded nuts that are flexible and lightweight design. The convenient 5.5mm hex design allows the use of the popular sized nut driver for the easiest on and off accessibility.
