Akashi Buggy Course Hosts Tresrey Off-Road Festival
The Tresrey Off-Road Festival (with round nine of the Tresrey Off-Road Race) was held last Sunday and Monday at the Akashi Buggy Course in Akashi City, Japan and it attracted 125 cars including 38 cars in 1:8 nitro buggy.
The nitro 1:8 off-road buggy class was held on Sunday and Ryuya Kato (D8) took the TQ, but Daisuke Endo (MBX6) won the race after the 30-minute final with Oike (MBX6/Alpha) second and Kato third.
The electric off-road 2WD and 4WD classes were held on Monday. In 2WD, Noriyuki Kawashima (B4) took TQ and won the race. Kenji Tsuruta (DEX210) was second and Takashi Nobuhara (DEX210) third. A total of three DEX210s made the A final.
In 4WD, Noriyuki Kawashima (DEX410) won the race again from Kenji Tsuruta (DEX410) and Naoyuki Mimura(DEX410). Seven DEX410 were in the top ten.
After the award ceremony, Tresrey held a big lucky draw prize which included a DEX410R kit, Speed Passion speed controls and motors, Viper RC speed controls and motors, and Highest servos.
