Avid RC Team Associated Optional Parts for RC8.2

 

Avid RC has released a new aluminium rear hub to fit the Team Associated RC8.2 buggy. Avid’s designers have incorporated adjustments that are not available on any other RC8.2 rear hub and feature 3.5mm thick carbon fibre mounting towers that can be flipped to have a total of eight possible upper link locations for fine-tuning. Secondly, the rear hinge pin pivots on machined Delrin inserts which can be flipped or changed to get one of four possible axle height locations in 1mm increments. The hubs are made of 7075 aluminium and then machined with the signature machined highlight.

The second item is a 2mm carbon fibre rear chassis brace for extra durability just like the factory drivers. This piece fits unto the middle of the standard moulded brace and is secured with Allen headed bolts.
