After X-Factory UK customers requested they make their own design front tower for the popular Team Durango DEX210, they have now introduced two types of tower that are available separately, or with Exotek’s gold alloy base mounts included as a set. The first tower is made from CarbonFlex and combines pure carbon fibre along with special hi flex strands that are interwoven, to create a material with similar strength to that of 100 per cent carbon but with more flex resulting in less tower breakages. The material has a trick two tone effect to its laminate that looks cool and distinguishes it from normal carbon. The tower set is supplied with alloy tower mounts from Exotek, anodised in Team Durango gold for that factory look and laser etched with the Exotek logo, to not only look great but to become a tough and resilient base for the tower itself. The tower incorporates the integral support beams as found on all other DMS Partz front towers as well as an integrated “scuff” zone above the shock mounting holes to help protect expensive shock absorbers. The tower is also available separately as a spare parts should the need arise for one and of course the tower mounts are available on their own from Exotek too. There is a full carbon fibre tower and tower set option too for those who want the rigidity, feel and exclusivity of this material.
