The new Floating Servo Holder with steering system is the end result from Serpent’s chief designer Michael and racer/designer David Ehrbar. The early version of the 411 car featured a different servo mount plate that had hardly any influence on flex, but it was time to take a fresh look at things and make something really new. The new system is mounted directly to the steering system with a carbon fibre holder around the servo to allow the latter to float above the chassis. The direct connection to the steering system and thus to the centre of the car, makes for the optimal solution, and also keeps the centre of gravity even lower and weight more centered in the car.
