The first annual Venom Offroad Jam at Fastlane Raceway in Blue Springs Missouri proved to be a great 2013 event for Team MIP. Posting the fastest two qualifying rounds in Pro4 Mod, the two-man factory duo of MIP Team Manager Matt Olson and MIP Founder/Design Engineer Eustace Moore lined up both of their MIP Pro4mance packed SCTEs for the A finals as car one and car two to beat. After racking up a full series of flawless statistically perfect runs in both his classes, Matt Olson, MIP Team Manager reports:
“‘Nothing but success for MIP’ is a quote I heard this weekend and little did I know, it to be nothing but the truth. In both my Pro2 Mod SCT and Pro4 Mod SCT classes I was able to take every single heads-up qualifier in both classes to take the overall TQ, and on main day I was able to clinch each of the titles. Both of my trucks ran flawlessly all weekend on the small tight indoor track and the 4×4 turned heads all weekend. Special thanks to MIP and all my sponsors for making it possible to be able to attend this race. That makes the MIP Pro4mance Package two for two this year and hope to keep up the streak. Also if you guys haven’t noticed, we have been adding to Team MIP, and our newest and by far youngest new team member Mason Fuller was on fire all weekend long! This little hot shot took home the Wins in Stock Buggy, Super Stock Buggy, Super Light SCT (15 Under), and a respectable second in Pro-Lite 17.5T SCT. What a killer weekend for such a killer little dude! Mason will be running all MIP Kyosho Products on his rides. Also Team Driver Trever Nault took home second in 2WD Mod Stadium Truck after a close battle all race long. This weekend was again ‘Nothing but successful for MIP.'”
