ModelZone are proud to announce that they will be opening a new store in central London. New Oxford Street will replace their old flagship Holborn store that was being redeveloped. After 25 years, it was sad news for their loyal customers who flocked from all over London and the surrounding areas to visit the store before the doors closed for a final time. After a month of searching for a new site, ModelZone have confirmed that a location in New Oxford Street that is due to open in early June. ModelZone’s Chief Executive Martin Carr, had this to say:

“I am delighted to announce that we will soon be opening a new store in central London to replace our iconic shop in Holborn. The site, on New Oxford Street, is only 300m west of the original shop in an excellent corner location. This new store will again allow us to offer our customers a strong range of all of our product ranges. I am sure that, like its predecessor, it will be a ‘must visit’ attraction for all model enthusiasts based in or visiting London. The board are extremely pleased to have been able to find such a good location so soon after the closure of the previous store. We expect to have this store trading imminently.”
