The HNMC GP will take place over the bank holiday weekend of 24-26 August at their famous track located at Westmill Farm in Ware, Hertfordshire. The GP will be an open tyre event that will cater for nitro buggy (120 entries), E-buggy (30) and truggy (16). Entries cost £25 for members and £30 for non-members per class. Should you want to race in more than one, its £40 for members running two classes and £50 for three. Non-member rates are £50 for two and £60 for three.
Booking in will take place on Saturday from 11:30 with drivers briefing at 13:00 followed by timed practice and a round of qualifying. On Sunday, there are five more rounds of qualifying beginning at 09:00 where the best four from all six qualifiers will count towards finals on Monday. At 18:30 on Sunday there will be a 20-minute long mechanics race followed by a free BBQ.
Finals begin on Monday at 09:00 and will follow the doubled sided system with bump-ups. Each will last 25-minutes. There will be a 25-minute long junior final whilst the main event will last for 40-minutes starting at 16:00 so the trophy presentation can take place at 17:00. There will be a charity raffle with proceeds going to the Herts Air Ambulance.
