Some 69 racers made the trip to HNMC for this race and with the national warm-up at NRC cancelled, there were a few of national racers present. Simon Reeves took TQ in the buggy class as TQ in E-buggy went to Patrick Honnor. Phil Saggers topped the qualification sheet in truggy. The D final in buggy was won by Michael Saggers from Rick Spiers and Alex Hudson. Graham Eldridge won the C final as Chris Smoothy took second and Jonathan Warburton third. Lewis Jones led home Darren Hayden-Ball and Ian Barnard in the B final. Karl Jackson won the A final from pole sitter Simon Reeves as Richard Barton took third. The E-buggy final was won by Michael Vaughan from Patrick Honnor and Matt White whilst Colin Drummond won in truggy from Phil Saggers and Jag Sigh.
