Rainer Ressar, VP Pro’s team driver from Estonia reports from the first ever Keila GP:
On the weekend of 14-15 of September saw a big weekend for the RC community in Estonia. Saturday was the first ever Keila GP, where many spectators watched the race and hopefully many new future racers made their RC debut with some on-road racing. I raced in the 1:8 off-road class that saw us race three qualifying runs and three legged finals. The day went really good, the tyres worked great and the car was really nice to drive. In the end I took TQ, the fastest lap and the race win.

4. Toomas Ramm – Traxxas/Traxxas/Traxxas
5. Tõnis Lattik – Serpent//VP Pro
6. Daniil Zurav – JQ/Novarossi
The weekend also saw us continuing a new tradition of an endurance race. This year the venue would be the all new Luige Racetrack. The race was held in three segments in teams of three drivers. The first segment would be 1:10 2WD, the second was for 1:8 electric cars and the third and final segment was for 1:8 nitro buggy. The race went very smoothly with no big problems. All the driver and car exchanges went great and it was a very successful event for our team. By the end of the day we had won all segments and the race by a margin of over 20 laps.
Many thanks to VP Pro, Team Durango and Ahha Diasin for all the support this season. I cannot stress enough how much you have helped me progress my racing career this past years.
