Vaterra have now added a monster truck to their line-up of scale replicas including the popular V100 on-road cars and Glamis sand rails. The new Hälix 1:10 RTR monster truck focuses upon the demands of a recreational user with waterproof electronics coupled with the new Spektrum AVC stability system that allows you to drive as recklessly as you want, and wherever you want, without having to adjust too greatly for turns and accelerations. When engaged, the Spektrum stability system automatically adjusts your vehicle speed and direction so accelerations are smoother and turns are more fluid even in the harshest driving conditions.
The composite nylon chassis features a modern robust design with sealed viscous torque vectoring differentials – as found in the Glamis – as part of the shaft-drive 4WD transmission. A LiPo-ready Dynamite Fuze 70A waterproof electronic speed control means the Hälix can be used with a 2S to 3S (7.4V-11.4V) battery powering the LiPo Dynamite 3300kV brushless motor. The other electronics components include a Spektrum DX2E 2.4GHz transmitter matched to a SRS4200 DSMR AVC receiver, with a digital waterproof servo pre-installed as part of the RTR package.
