Team Associated’s famous RC10 model has been re-released in the form of the RC10 Classic and JConcepts have already announced a selection of carbon fibre upgrades. The first is the front shock tower made from 2.5mm thick carbon fibre that replaces the stock fibreglass one. The JConcepts tower maintains the geometry but includes detailed reinforced areas adding strength in key areas as well as the improvement in material creates a more rigid feel, increasing the response in the front-end.
Complimenting the front tower is a matching rear model but this time it includes optional mounting holes, the same as found on the race-inspired RC10 Worlds Car. The tower includes detailed reinforced areas adding strength in key areas as well as a more rigid feel due to its 2.5mm thickness.
Finally there is a rear transmission brace in 2.5mm genuine carbon fibre, which was one of the most famous upgrades to the vehicle. As standard the Classic comes with a moulded, white plastic brace that has considerable flex and when driven hard can affect the rear-end stability. The JConcepts carbon fibre option creates a more rigid assembly in each direction giving the racers a more solid feel in rear suspension and also resists chassis rear-end tweak and bending issues.
