Launched in 2010, the LRP Pulsar Touch was the first charger to feature a touch screen and it still remains a popular unit. But LRP has been working hard on some updates so the new version will come with an additional EHR to XHR balancer wire for the best compatibility. In addition, the discharge cut-off voltages of the pre-set programs one through to four have been changed and instead of 3.2V/2.2V now 3.3V/2.3V is available that LRP state is “perfect for a long battery life”. Finally the striking blue colour is now more resistant against UV light.
Just like the original, you get up to 12A charge current, balancing of up to 4S Lithium-based cells, motor/speed control/servo function test, firmware update via USB, fast touch screen and easy to understand menu navigation and these have all been carried over to the 2014 version.
