Novak has announced details of their new 4PHD four-pole brushless motor designed specifically for short course use. The 4PHD is a 12-slot motor and is suitable for the high power demands and of the popular 4×4 short course class as well as extreme bashing. The 4PHD packs the punch of a larger 550-size, two-pole motor, and offers drivers the instantaneous throttle response achieved from a four-pole motors. The 4PHD is available in a 4600kV rating, has an ultra-duty Neodymium rotor that is Kevlar-wrapped and rides on high-RPM ABEC 5 ball bearings treated with Novak’s Speed Lube premium bearing oil.
