If you want to have a fun day of laid-back racing, HPI bashing and checking out HPI off-road models, then there is the latest HPI Challenge & Bash Party at the Notts & Derby Off-Road Club on Saturday 2 August. The club is located next to the Nottingham IKEA and is very easy to find.
HPI will be on-site with some fun racing and bashing for many HPI vehicles including the Baja range, buggies like the Trophy and Pulse, trudges including the Trophy and Hellfire as well as 2WD trucks (Firestorm, Blitz and similar), monster trucks (Savage, Bullet and similar) and of course the WR8.
Racing
The rules for those wishing to race are Run what Ya Brung so nice and simple. Just bring an HPI vehicle and have fun racing it. There is no restriction on motors, engines, fuel, etc. Racing will start at 10am and finish around 4pm or 5pm. Entry fees are just £10 and you can pay on the day.
Bashing
Other areas of the NDOR Club will be open for anyone that brings an HPI model, but doesn’t want to race. This is just £5 for the day, with large jumps and a huge area available. This will close at 4pm.
Try-Me Trucks
Various HPI trucks and buggies will be available to test drive at certain times of the day with other HPI models on display for you to check out! The Try-Me area will close at 4pm.
Camping at the track Saturday night is free with electric hook-up costing £5. A clean cafe is on-site for hot food.
For driving directions, use the postcode NG16 2DE in your satellite navigation device.
