Maritime Raceway Announce The Battle

The annual Off-Road Wars Two-Day World Cup called The Battle takes place over the weekend of 8-9 November 2014 with 2WD on the Saturday and 4WD on the Sunday at the Maritime club based in Chatham, Kent. Support for this popular event comes from Horizon Hobby UK, Kyosho UK, X-Factory UK, RudeBits and Racer Magazine. The format will see four rounds of FTD qualifying with three legs for the A final and one for the other finals. On offer both days is a notable prize fund that sees the champion take home £200, with £100 for second and £50 for third. The top under 16 racer also wins £50 with trophies awarded to the ten A finalists and the top three drivers in all the other finals. Yet to be confirmed is the control tyre rules, but to make it clear from the start that additive, tyre warmers and gyros are banned.
