Round five of HNMC’s summer series took place last weekend and with great weather all day resulted in some fast racing. Around 50 racers made the trip as Simon Reeves and Callum Niblett battled it out TQ in the nitro buggy heats.
Come the finals and it was James Stevens who won the D final in nitro buggy from Al Lee and Peter Gosden. In the C final of the same class Jonathan Warburton won with Jeremy Irving second and Marques Scripps third. Steve Johnson won the B final from Richard Cousins and HNMC’s own Jim Thompson taking the final podium spot. In the A final of nitro buggy, there was a TLR clean sweep as Josh Adams won from Simon Reeves and Karl Jackson.
Steve Carter won in truggy from Colin Drummond and Phil Saggers whilst Richard Cousins beat Nigel Morris and Ian Fuller in the E-buggy category. Full results from round five can be found here.
