Serpent and Gerd Strenge have joined forces for the long-term that will see them combine race and event-support in off-road, as well as being the mechanic for Jörn Neumann and assisting in product development. The Serpent off-road car line-up is increasing steadily, and they believe this requires a more intensive support campaign as before, to meet drivers requests and provide the support needed.
Gerd will be mechanic/race engineer at all major events for Jörn and of course supporter to all the Serpent drivers at the races and events he attends. On the development side, Serpent will be expanding its product line a lot more in the years to come, both in racing as well as in hobby and RTR markets. Gerd will be assisting Serpent’s development team headed by Michael Salven on the on-road side and Billy Easton on the off-road side, with prototyping, testing and sharing ideas for further development of cars, general equipment, spares and optionals.
The Dirt Nitro Challenge this week will be the first event for Gerd under the Serpent flag with many more events to follow.
