The ninth round of the HNMC Winter Series took place on the Astroturf track due to the poor weather conditions. Of the 40 drivers who attended, we saw nitro buggy TQ go to Karl Jackson pushed hard by young guns Jamie Clancy and Rhys Herd. The E-buggy TQ was taken by went to Richard Cousins.
In the D finals of nitro buggy it was Steve Bellwood taking the win from Jamie Cutter and Phil Saggers. Colin Parsfield won the C final with Howard Elston second and D final winner Steve Bellwood third. The top three in the B final were Steve Johnson, Chris Smoothy and John Niall. Karl Jackson converted pole to the win in the A final with Jamie Clancy taking second and Rhys Herd third. The E-buggy win also saw a win for the pole sitter as Richard Cousins won from Nigel Morris and Darren Pollard.
