The new Xray XB2 prototype made it onto the podium round two of the EOS that took place in Berlin, Germany. Ahead of the round, there was a team meeting at the Xray factory with Martin Bayer, Miguel Matias and Martin Wollanka on Wednesday, where they received the prototype 2WD and they then had a quick practice. On Thursday they travelled to Berlin ahead of Friday’s practice.
After qualifying, in 2WD Martin Bayer was fifth and Martin Wollanka fourth, and they finished third and fifth in the A final respectively.
On Sunday Martin Bayer had some bad luck in qualifying and the finals too with the 4WD, but he was really satisfied with the performance of the XB2 prototype.
