The Square Pin tyre is the result of months of testing and more months of discussing with the Revolution Design Racing Products team. The goal was to make a buggy tyre with a maximum increased surface, better braking handling and un-rivalled stand balance. Michael Vollmer from Revolution Design made the following statement:
“The idea behind the Square Pin tyre was, to make a real re-invent of a tyre. A complete new approach of tyre design – far away from the traditional tyre design. There was some concerns about the new look, but we know, racers don’t care about the look, if it makes them faster.”
