The HNMC members GP is a free race to all their members as a ‘thank you’ from the club for their support. The track was again at its usual high standard and the weather was great as well! With a different fun format and free club BBQ, 60 racers entered this event.
Qualifying TQ went to Tony Truman in buggy Simon Miller in truggy with E-buggy going to Rhys Herd.
The nitro buggy finals were 30-minutes long with Hayward Le Grange winning the D final from Luke Bennett and Martin Hart. The C final win went to Barry Abbott from Michael Saggers and Stephen Brunsden. Josh Johnson would take victory in the B final ahead of HNMC’s own Jim Thompson and Steve Johnson. Kevin Brunsden would take the A final win with Tony Truman second and Jon Hazlewood third.
In E-buggy Rhys Herd won fro pole with Ian Fuller second and Darren Pollard third.
The top three in truggy were Hayward Le Grange, Peter Bird and Simon Miller.
The junior podium was topped by Callum Niblett with Oliver Currie second and Jamie Clancy third.
