“RC Racers: This Is Not A Toy” is a short documentary that chronicles the thrill, work and sacrifice that goes into racing RC cars. Shot over the course of two years, the film focuses on racers who competed in the 2013 Midwest Nitro Series. The film was produced, directed and edited by Logan Hall, a Chicago-based filmmaker and commercial director. For the uninitiated, it’s an introduction to the world of RC cars and off-road racing.
