Team Shepherd Win More Titles

 

After winning the Swiss Championship with Marco Müller one race before the end of the season, Team Shepherd achieved another national title at the final round of the Irish championship which took place in Dublin for the 1:8 on-road class.

After winning the previous round which was run under wet conditions Ian Campbell was in a comfortable position going into this weekend. This time the weather was excellent all race days but unfortunately he suffered bad interference problems throughout the meeting and he could only manage to finish in fourth place in the final.

Ian said about the race: “It was a pity because again the Velox V8 was handling very well, but fortunately it was still enough to win the 2009 Irish Championship.”
