LRP SPX8 Brushless Wins JBRL Nitro Round 7
In its U.S. debut, the LRP SPX8 brushless impressed with a 1-2 finish in the 1:8 Electric Buggy class in Round 7 of the JBRL Nitro series. Revelation Raceway, one of the largest tracks on the west coast, is definitely a power circuit. The SPX8 brushless was up to the task, devouring the long backstretch and making the long-distance jumps an afterthought.
Team Associated factory drivers Chris Jarosz and Ryan Cavalieri chose two 5000mAh batteries wired in series to create a 4S configuration to power their RC8e buggies. This versatile combination was not only powerful, but easy to drive due the SPX8’s sensored design.
As a world leader in 1:10 ESC and motor design, LRP is proud to bring winning technology to racers in the growing 1:8 Electric Off-Road racing category.
