Established in 1967 Radshape Sheet Metal Ltd have over 40 years experience in the manufacture of precision sheet metal parts. Using traditional skills and craftsmanship hand in hand with new production methods involving state of the art computerised technology they supply high quality parts across all Industry Sectors.
The sheer diversity of products produced at Radshape is evidence of the company’s extraordinary flexibility to produce parts from Brackets to Bumpers, Petrol Tanks to Chassis, Speaker Grilles to Radiators.
The workforce of 50 combines traditional skills with the latest technology comprising of a 5kw Laser, CNC Punch Press and Press Brake machines, Fully Coded Welders and skills to form and fabricate complex components together with CAD / CAM engineers operating Catia version 4 & 5 and Solidworks 2009.
Radshape’s expertise in Aluminium bonding is highly regarded throughout the automotive industry for which we supply chassis structures to the Morgan Motor Company.
It was April 2008 when we embarked on a project to manufacture our same quality parts for the RC industry. After trademarking the RadshapeRC.Com brand to also cover Planes, Helicopters and Boats in the future, a small team, who are also club racers, began to research and develop a range of hop-ups design not only to be strong, durable and perform well but to also enhance the appearance of the models. The website became live with an on-line shop on 7th December 2009 to showcase our initial range of products which they aim to expand quickly for all areas of the hobby, whether it be on or off road, rock crawling or the latest craze of short course trucks.
