Pro-Line Dominates Round 6 of Florida Series
This last weekend Pro-Line tyres dusted the competition at the Florida State Off-Road Nitro Series taking both pro classes. In 1:8 buggy, team drivers Billy Easton, Josh Talmadge, and Leon McIntosh had great showings in the highly contested Pro A-main.
It was all Billy Easton dominating the race and taking the win with a lap on the field using M2 Calibers with closed cell foam. Leon had a great battle for second with Jason Rouna for the entire 30 minute main. In the end though, Leon crossed the line in third opting to use the softer M3 Caliber tyres with blue closed cell foam.
Newcomer to the Pro-Line team, Josh Talmadge, was well on his way to a great finish until engine issues dropped him back in the field. On the highly abrasive Florida surface Josh opted to use Pro-Lines new Recoil tyre in M3 compound. It proved to be a great decision as the tyres had over 75% tread left at the end of 30 minutes. Josh had this to say after the race,â€The Recoils were awesome from start to finish, even when the dust came up I was still able to really push the limitsâ€. As the dust settled it was a great run for the Pro-Line team taking two out of the top three spots on the podium.
